The Foundation for the Promotion of Development and Integration was born from the Integra Sport Foundation. The acronym FDI has been maintained, becoming FDI Foundation.
Its social purpose is focused on the social-labor integration of people with disabilities and / or at risk of exclusion through education and sports.
Incorporated in 2010, it has a multidisciplinary professional team that works every day in favor of those who need it the most, through the Corporate Social Responsibility policies of the companies. Sports schools for young people with disabilities, women's project with inmates and women with disabilities and integration schools with refugees and immigrants are the main focuses of the foundation's social action.
In addition, it develops awareness campaigns in educational centers in order to reach the future of our country, the youngest ones, making them see the importance of the normalization of the group with disabilities. Within its international activity, it is an NGO, that is, NGO of Cooperation development. Therefore, and because we are partners of the Spanish Network of the Global Compact, we firmly believe in the commitment we have with other countries that have vulnerable situations, working to achieve a greater development of the population through education.
If we want to define our foundation in 3 blocks we would say:
Charity Actions: schools for disadvantaged groups
Corporate Volunteering / International Cooperation: projects with private companies
LGD: socio-labor integration of people with disabilities / alternative measures
Our headquarters are located in the Community of Madrid (P. Castellana, 135 P. 7 -28046 Madrid), although the foundation has delegations in Castilla y León and Cataluña.
In addition, at present the path of the foundation goes through a very defined route: the Sustainable Development Goals.
